Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)\
"Some day the medical profession will wake up and realize that unresolved emotional issues are the main cause of 85% of all illnesses. When they do, EFT will be one of their primary healing tools .... as it is for me."
- Eric Robins, MD -
Many doctors and other health care experts agree that 85-95% of illness is stress-induced. EFT is used by many people world wide to reduce the effects caused by stress.
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is an evidence-based technique that works with the human vibrational energy system. It focuses on resolving disturbances at the level of the acupuncture meridians. It can be self-applied by tapping on acupuncture points instead of using needles. Introduced in 1995 by Gary Craig, a Stanford engineer, EFT has been used successfully by many hundreds of thousands of people worldwide.
According to the "Discovery Statement" in EFT, the cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the energy system of the body. Although EFT is so new that it has not yet been thoroughly researched by science it is generally believed that unresolved emotions and negative thoughts can disrupt the flow in the energy system and can lead to pain and illness. When the energy is balanced negative emotions and thoughts are released and this can result in an improvement in symptoms. EFT has been used successfully for a wide range of emotional and physical issues. Additional uses of EFT include improving relationships and enhancing performance in sports, public speaking, and business.
