Don't Have Time to Tap?

Do you find it hard to find the time to tap? We lead such busy lives that this is a complaint I hear often. For some people tapping feels like "another thing on their to-do list", a list that is already way too long.

Given how much you could benefit from EFT it makes sense to take a look at how it could be fit into your day in a way that wouldn't take a lot of time and wouldn't add to the time pressures you are already under. Here are some possibilities:
• Make it a habit of tapping when you first wake up in the morning, before your feet hit the floor, and possibly even before you open your eyes. If you program your mind before you go to sleep, making it clear that this is what you want to do (imagining what it will be like in advance is helpful), you will probably find yourself remembering to to it as soon as you wake up or soon after that.

• Connect the idea of doing a quick round of tapping to every day tasks: washing your hands, eating, getting in your car, making a phone call, etc. Just tap a bit before doing some of these activities.

• Tap when you notice you are feeling bothered. Even if you only have time for a couple of rounds, that's better than no EFT at all.

• Tap before you go to sleep at night.

If you intend to make tapping a habit it will be easier to remember to tap, even if briefly, a few times a day. And, if you tap daily it is much easier to remember to use EFT in the moment when things happen that really bother you.
