EFT for Decision Making

Did you know that EFT can help you make better decisions?

When you are in conflict about a decision it is often because your logic (mind) and your feelings (body) are not congruent. Your emotions may be in the way of thinking through the decision with all the clarity you are capable of. Since EFT addressed both body and mind it's a great technique to use when you are stuck.

When using EFT to improve your decision making simply discuss with yourself all you know about the decision as you tap—all the upsides and all the downsides, all the various view points, etc. As EFT works on your physiology and helps clear negative emotions it is very likely that the decision will be easily made. Also, often tapping helps bring about additional insights that help resolve the conflict.

It's best to stick to one decision at a time, to stay focused with your tapping. If you find yourself wandering off to other topics (this can be easy to do) catch yourself and bring your focus back to the single decision you want to resolve. If you want to decide whether you want to look for a job, focus on the main thing that's got you stuck. Say, it's that you don't like your boss. If you also would like a better salary and more time off save those for later. Just focus on not liking your boss and see where that gets you. As a general rule, you will get better results when being specific with EFT than with being too general or "global" in your approach.
