Tapping for People with Unknown Health Conditions

I've received many emails regarding the article about Joseph, including one from southern Spain, thanking me for writing it. One person asked about tapping for elderly people when she doesn't know the details of their health conditions. Here is her question along with my answer.
Question:
The story about 91 year old Joseph in Gary's newsletter is fascinating.  I love it.  There are people I know in different parts of the country - elderly people - that I would like to help heal with EFT in this way.  You knew Joseph's condition - I don't always know their exact condition - so I'm at a loss for words in how I might help them.  If you have any suggestions, I'd much appreciate them!

My Answer:
Wonderful that you would like to help these elderly people. I do not know what Gary Craig would say, of course, but here are my thoughts.

EFT can be used similarly to prayer, or along with prayer. In research studies with prayer it has been found that people who pray for the general well-being of the person being prayed for receive more benefits than those for whom the prayer is for a specific condition. So, I would combine EFT with a kind of prayer-like state of mind, asking Spirit to bring healing to the person in whatever way is for their highest good, whatever is the next most appropriate healing for them. I would send this out to the Universe, knowing my prayer had been heard and letting go of the results, since I was not asking for something specific. It might be that they receive a healing experienced as more inner peace, and you might never know that. But I think some good will be done in doing this.

There is also interesting research on the power of our intent. When we combine the power of our personal intent with the love of the Universe, God, whatever name you have for it, the power is significantly multiplied. I think our request is always heard.

Don't know if you will find these thought of help, but in any case I wish you the very best with your endeavor to help these elderly people.
