Tapping On One Big "Mental Ball"

Here's an interesting and creative way to use EFT from Nicholas Ortner, Creator and Producer of the movie about EFT called Try It On Everything.

"Close your eyes.  Bring every little thing that is dragging you down, that is draining your energy, that is annoying you or upsetting you and put it in one big "mental ball" in your mind's eye.  Keep your eyes closed and do one round of tapping.  Do several rounds if you want.

"When the ball disappears or melts away, bring to mind all the positive things you want for the rest of the day, and do several rounds of tapping. Feel the difference in your mind and body."

I mentioned this exercise today when I was presenting an EFT workshop, and a participant said this seems like tapping on generalities when Gary Craig advises to tap on specifics. I thought that was a great comment. While a totally agree with Gary that it's best to tap on specifics I think in this exercise the "mental ball" can become a specific. For me, the mental ball holds the multitude of thoughts that keep me from being in the present moment. When I tap on the ball (that bunch of thoughts, as if they are an object) my mind gets quiet and I experience peace.
