Are You Doing EFT "Right"?

People sometimes are concerned about whether they are doing EFT "right". EFT is actually a very forgiving process and, although it is preferable to do EFT correctly, chances are even if you are not tapping all of the points just right you will still get benefits. In regard to getting the words "right" give yourself permission to do EFT imperfectly. Again, you will probably get some results. Maybe not the best possible results, but it's better to try and learn as you go than to not do anything at all out of uncertainty.

Like many other skills, practice is the pathway to improvement. It also helps to learn from someone who has been well trained and can show you ways to get better results. And, it is best to select specific events than to be all over the map with your tapping (more on this here: http://eft-austin.com/resources/eftarticles/tappingonspecifics).
If you are in or near Austin, TX and would like the opportunity to practice with other "tappers" you may be interested in attending the First Thursday EFT Practice Group which meets monthly. This is a recurring event, so you might want to put it on your calendar as such. It is very inspiring to be around other people who tap, hear their stories, get your questions answered, and engage in tapping yourself in a way that produces measurable change. You will also have the opportunity to improve your tapping skills.

Join us tomorrow evening for the First Thursday EFT Practice Group from 7:30-8:45 at Unity Church of the Hills, 9905 Anderson Mill Rd., Austin, TX  78750. Payment is on a love offering basis, suggested donation $10. This event is open to all regardless of prior EFT knowledge or ability to pay.

If you can make it to the group please bring your questions and the issues that you want to transform. I am looking forward to seeing you there.
