Tips: Using EFT More Effectively

People sometimes ask how to go about using EFT for the greatest benefit. I suggest using it with consistency in these three ways:
1) Do one round of EFT when you first wake up in the morning. I trained myself to do this before my feet hit the floor, and on some days even before I open my eyes in the morning. The purpose of doing it as soon as you wake up is to start your day with your energy system tuned up. It can make a big difference. If you don't know what to say you can tap on the possibility of being 'psychologically reversed' (kind of like having your battery in backwards---your energy system has an electrical component to it). "Even though I might be psychologically reversed I deeply and completely love, forgive and accept myself."
2) Make a specific time each day for tapping. This dedicated time might be 5-10-15-20 minutes or more, whatever you can do is fine. It is more important to be consistent than to give it a lot of time. During this session select a specific event in your life that bothers you and tap it to zero. If you are not able to get it to zero during the time you have allotted simply continue with that issue the next day, and for as many days as it takes to get it to zero. Then select a new specific event and do the same thing.
3) Tap on the fly. When something happens during the day and you notice you are reacting to it tap right then and see if you can collapse it. If not, attend to it during your daily session of EFT time (#2, above).
